Swamiji believes in all round development

Dr. P. R. Bhattacharya(Principal)

We are all aware of the message of Swami Vivekananda “Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man’. In fact, it is a journey-journey from darkness to light, a journey from evil to good also. We have read “Asato Ma Sadganaya Tamasо Tајyotirgamaya………………………”

Nowadays, the menacing problem which exists in India and which is admitted by all is nothing but the problem of unemployment. But actually it is not the unemployment but the “unemployability” which is the most important thing to be dealt with all seriousness. After graduation a student cannot find a job of his choice as he is “unemployable” in that post.

To mitigate the problem our college established by the Trust named after Vivekananda has been trying since its inception to ensure proper education which makes a student “Employable” after his graduation.

Thanks to the tireless efforts of our teachers and members of non-teaching staff the whole hearted Co-operation from Hon’ble Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Hon’ble members of Trustee Board, the college has already completed its 10th year of Successful existence. Although the college has undergone sea change and overall congenial atmosphere is found to exist within the entire college campus, but we believe in the words of the poet “miles to go before l sleep”.

My esteemed colleagues have established a meaningful rapport between the teacher and the taught which is reflected in the results of University examinations.

We believe that our students have immense possibilities and we want to explore in them that possibility which will make them good citizens of our country.

This requires proper guidance which my esteemed colleagues have been imparting in them so that they become a rational combination of strength and humility.

The crying need of the hour is Balanced Development of the country so that man can enjoy a meaningful life and I believe that our students can make it into a reality because I believe in the Words of the poet “Halla kore chutirpore oije jara jacche pothe, oi amader boker bol, orai moder ashar sthol”

I wish them every success.
